Putting Families First In Probate, Not Awards

After four years of wins and shortlists, we’re stepping back from awards this year… deliberately.

Laurelo is established. We’re busy. And focus right now is not on chasing applause or external validation.

Our reputation has been built on substance, not the submissions we’ve battled hours over writing. Our reputation is based on a model that puts families first, delivers fixed and transparent fees, prioritises face-to-face support, and treats probate as a human process, and not a legal transaction. That approach has already been recognised, repeatedly, across the industry.

What makes Laurelo exceptional hasn’t changed but our focus has sharpened. In the past 18 month we’ve invested in a 30+ strong team selected for their empathy and moral compass as much as for their expertise. We’ve built layered client care, proactive communication, and 24/7 support into our service as standard. We’ve created wellbeing and aftercare initiatives that support both the families we serve and the people doing the work. We’ve partnered responsibly, operated ethically, and chosen clarity over complexity for our families at every step of their probate journey.

Those are the foundations that led to us winning our awards in the first place. Award entries are time-consuming, costly and although good for the ego deliver very little for our end users. Right now, our time is better spent doing the work, refining our service, supporting our partners, strengthening our team, and making sure every family receives care that is not just good, but remarkable.

Instead of competing (and mostly winning) in industry awards for wills and probate and the legal sector we are focused on client care, the wellbeing of our team and those we associate with.
