A Busy Season at Laurelo

The past few months have been full of proud moments. As ever, our priority has been caring for families with compassion, clarity and fairness but we’ve also been busy behind the scenes, investing in people and positive collaborations.  

Supporting the Next Generation

This summer, we welcomed A-Level students and undergraduate law students into the business for work experience. Opening our doors in this way has been a powerful reminder of how much curiosity and fresh thinking the next generation brings. Whether shadowing case work, exploring the complexities of probate, or learning how we build genuine human connections with families, we’ve been proud to show them that the legal world can (and should) put people first.

Laurelo on the Airwaves

You may have heard us on Death: A Changing Industry with John Adams. Michael and I sat down with him to talk openly and honestly about why Laurelo exists, what drives us, and how our own experiences of loss have shaped the way we work. The response has been humbling. Funeral directors, celebrants and introducers have told us it gave them fresh understanding of the heart behind our business. If you haven’t had a chance to listen yet, you can find it HERE.

Looking Ahead: Doula Partnerships

We’re in exciting conversations with End of Life Doula UK about how we can support their work and build closer bridges between end-of-life care and after-death care. Doulas are often the steady hand families turn to in their final days with a loved one. Together, we want to make sure the support continues seamlessly into probate and beyond. More news to follow soon.

• Simon has joined us as our new Business Development Manager, getting to know introducers across the country.
• Laurelo Lift continues to thrive, with workshops, wellbeing sessions and peer support available to the whole team.
